Future developments at district Chakwal..........
Our Eye Department should become operational from the beginning of May 2005 and future expansion will pave the way forward for additional facilities. Our target is to get ENT ( Ear, Nose & Throat Diseases) department up and running from September 2005. We will also be installing an X-Ray Screening room, in the near future. We will continue with a similar expansion as when additional funding becomes available;We will be looking at setting up:
- a modern ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
- a modern operating theatre
- a latest doppler Ultrasonography and Echocardiography scanners for Gynaecological/Obstetrical and Cardiology units
- an up to date renal & liver dialysis facilities which will not exist any where in the district
Our bigger efforts will be vested in establishing a modern biochemical/immunological laboratory, microbiology lab in the near future in district Chakwal, which will not only provide a vital service this district but will also be an immense benefit to the surrounding districts.
